tools used to make my projects
I use four different types of light in this project one is the spot light light and it makes a cone shaped light source. Another light i use was the point light and it emits light in all directions. another light is the area light which is use to look like a reflective window or reflective material. the last light is the ambient light and its purpose is to be just like the light in real life.
For this project I use the cut face tool, the extrude tool and the bevel tool. the cut face tool lets you divide a face into two or more different faces and you can cut the face at any angle. The extrude tool let you select face and then lets you pull a new shape from the previous face. the bevel tool lets you lets you round conners and edges.
I use many tools on this project but the main tools are NURBS, curves and revolve. the NURBS is a tool that generates curves and surfaces. the curves tool lets you make the outline of an object like a cup or glass then the revolve tool would finish the cup for you by use the outline you made to make the cup.
some tools i used on this project were the curve tool and the lofting tool. the curve tool lets you make an outline of an object then you use those outlines and the lofting tool to finish the object. the difference between the lofting tool and the revolve tool is the lofting tool makes objects that outlines have more bends and curves.
For this project I use two new tools bump maps and a looping animation. the bump map is a tool that puts a 3-D look to to an object the bump map make objects look like they have a texture to it. the looping animation is a way to have your animation do something but continually preform this action.
I used two more new tools for this project and those tools are keyframes and the graph editor the keyframes are frames that you make so your animation can preform an action the key frames are just place holders for your animation. The graph editor lets you edit the points at which the keyframes are in.
